A Journey to Turn Dreams into Reality

Inspired by the boundless generosity they experienced during their journey around the world, Milan and Muammer set off on an extraordinary adventure across Africa. Their mission was simple yet profound: to bring to life the dreams of the remarkable people they met along the way. Through their heartfelt story, they share the lessons learned and the deep connections forged as they worked hand in hand with local communities to turn these dreams into reality.

Turning Dreams Into Reality

During our journey, we’ve made 18 dreams come true—whether it’s fixing Mama Yen’s roof to bring shelter and safety, rebuilding Mister John’s library to restore knowledge, planting trees for a greener future, or offering wheelchairs to improve mobility and independence. We were amazed by the immense joy of life radiating from the people we met, especially the children, who spent their days playing and laughing together in big communities. It’s striking how, despite having so much material wealth and comfort in the West, the pure happiness we witnessed in many parts of the world shines even brighter. There's so much to learn from their simple joy.

In early 2016, we were among the first small production teams to travel with a DJI Phantom 3 drone, pioneering a new era of storytelling. With our backpacks packed to the brim with camera gear—Muammer's drone taking up most of the space—we left little room for extras. This minimalist approach pushed us to refine our 'run and gun' filmmaking into a more impactful style, focusing not just on the journey, but on capturing the incredible stories of the people we met along the way
